For this last episode of 2020, you'll hear from someone who’s passionate about ensuring the separation of church and state, Sam Gerard. Sam is the membership manager at American Atheists. He just transitioned into this role recently, having worked in communications for the American Humanist Association up until a couple of months ago. He’s done other work in the areas of environmental activism and politics as well. Overall his passions lie in the areas of voting rights and various science and technology issues, with an interest in working at the intersection of public policy and political engagement.
